For every girl, boy and teen
In Vidas Creativas our commitment is that every girl, boy and teen discover the power they got to transform their reality
We create community dance spaces addressed to girls, boys and teens where they discover and develop their capacities and potentialities
Our Journey
We started in el Triángulo de la Solidaridad, a high social risk community. We worked with 15 girls between 10 and 15 years during the whole year. The victory of the project focused on the girls recognizing their habilities, the virtue of effort and discipline, better interpersonal and family relationships and better performance at school.
2014
We participated with the NGO Acción Joven. We shared workshops for high school students to promote and empower abilities and awaken the interest to stay and finish high school.
2015
We developed for Unicef Costa Rica and the Costa Rican government a dance program to promote peace and violence prevention in the national project Centros Cívicos sin Paredes. During this season we had the opportunity to directly share with more than 300 teenagers, boys, and girls.
2016 -2018
This year we are working to create the project Inwards where we will share about identity. Childhood and adolescence are vital stages in the development of identity. The project aims to be part of the national actions against youth depression and youth suicide..
